d. Assembly
1.
Install latch lock (3) and spring (4) on latch (5) with latch shaft (6).
2.
Install latch (5) on pintle hook (12) with screw (9), slotted nut (2), and new cotter pin (1).
3.
Install new cotter pin (8) and chain (11) on latch (5) and pintle hook (12) with drive pin (10).
4.
Install two grease fittings (7) on screw (9) and latch shaft (6).
e. Installation
1.
Install pintle hook (12) on mounting bracket (16) with washer (15) and slotted nut (14).
2.
Install new cotter pin (13) through pintle hook (12) and slotted nut (14).
FOLLOW-ON TASK:
Lubricate pintle hook (LO 9-2320-272-12).
