MATERIALS/PARTS
Four locknuts (Appendix D, Item 294)
Sixteen locknuts (Appendix D, Item 321)
Two lockwashers (Appendix D, Item 368)
EQUIPMENT CONDITION
Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).
1.
Remove two locknuts (8) and screws (1) from front anchors (4), shackles (9), and frame (3). Discard
locknuts (8).
2.
Remove four locknuts (2), two screws (6) and (7), lockwashers (5), and front anchors (4) from
frame (3). Discard lockwashers (5) and locknuts (2).
3.
Remove eight locknuts (11), screws (17), and two side anchors (16) from frame (3). Discard
locknuts (11).
4.
Remove two locknuts (12), screws (13), four locknuts (14), screws (10), and two rear
anchors (15) from frame (3). Discard locknuts (12) and (14).
b. Installation
1.
Install two rear anchors (15) on frame (3) with two screws (13), new locknuts (12), four screws (10), and
new locknuts (14).
2.
Install two side anchors (16) on frame (3) with eight screws (17) and new locknuts (11).
3.
Install two front anchors (4) on frame (3) with two new lockwashers (5), screws (6) and (7), and four
locknuts (2).
4.
Install two screws (1) on front anchors (4), shackles (9), and frame (3) with two new locknuts (8).
