Lightly coat new O-rings (8) and (10) with GAA grease.

Install O-ring (8) in outside groove of piston (9). Ensure O-ring (8) is not twisted.

Install O-ring (10) in bore of piston (9). Ensure O-ring (10) is not twisted.

10.

Coat piston bore (2) of clutch housing (3) with GAA grease and set with hinge pins (11) facing up.

CAUTION

When installing piston, use care not to cut or damage O-rings.

11.

Using both hands, press downward and rotate piston (9) until seated in clutch housing (3). Ensure

piston (9) is seated over three hinge pins (11) in clutch housing (3).
