Remove rings, wristwatches, neck chains, and any other jewelry before working

around vehicle.

Jewelry can catch on equipment and cause serious injury.

and tools may short across electrical circuits and cause damage to equipment, or

severe burns or electrical shock to personnel.

Step 13.

Put STEP LIGHTS switch to off position (WP 0004).

Turn Service Drive Lights

Off (TM 9-2320-422-10).

Pull battery disconnect switch to off position (WP 0007).

Disconnect passenger side body wire harness hose bed step light connector at

non-operating hose bed step light (WP 0234).

Pull battery disconnect switch to on

position (WP 0007).

Turn Service Drive Lights On (TM 9-2320-422-10).

Put STEP

LIGHTS switch to on position (WP 0004).

With a test lead set, check for 22 to 28 VDC

between wire 1615 (green) at passenger side body wire harness hose bed step light

connector, terminal 3 and a known good ground.

If 22 to 28 VDC are not present, repair wire 1615 in passenger side body

wire harness if repairable (TM 9-2320-325-14&P), or replace passenger

side body wire harness (WP 0298).
