Remove rings, wristwatches, neck chains, and any other jewelry before working
around vehicle.
Jewelry can catch on equipment and cause serious injury.
Jewelry and tools may short across electrical circuits and cause damage to
equipment, or severe burns or electrical shock to personnel.

CAUTION
Both connector ends of foam level probe adapter must be covered with heat
shrink tubing.
Failure to comply will allow moisture to enter connector ends and
not allow foam level gauge to function properly.

Step 10.
Pull battery disconnect switch to off position (WP 0007).
Disconnect passenger side
body wire harness foam level probe connector from water level probe adapter.
Reconnect passenger side body wire harness water level probe connector to water
level probe adapter.
Push battery disconnect switch to on position (WP 0007).
With a
test lead set, check for 4 to 6 VDC between wire 3850 (green) at passenger side body
wire harness foam level probe connector, terminal B to a known good ground.

If 4 to 6 VDC are present, go to Step 14.
