Step 17.
Cut passenger side body wire harness stowage compartment striplight butt splice
connector wire 1473.
Check for continuity across passenger side body wire harness
wire 1473 (black) from passenger side rear stowage compartment striplight butt splice
connector termination to passenger side rear stowage compartment P1 door switch
connector.

If there is no continuity, repair wire 1473 in lower passenger side body wire
harness if repairable (TM 9-2320-325-14&P), or replace lower passenger
side body wire harness (WP 0298).

Remove rings, wristwatches, neck chains, and any other jewelry before working
around vehicle.
Jewelry can catch on equipment and cause serious injury.

and tools may short across electrical circuits and cause damage to equipment, or
severe burns or electrical shock to personnel.

Step 18.
Repair passenger side body wire harness wire 1473.
Cut passenger side body wire
harness stowage compartment striplight butt splice connector wire 1189.
Push battery
disconnect switch to on position (WP 0007).
Turn Service Drive Lights On
(TM 9-2320-422-10).
Check for 22 to 28 VDC between wire 1189 (red) at passenger
side body wire harness stowage compartment P1 striplight connector termination and a
known good ground.

If 22 to 28 VDC are present, replace stowage compartment striplight
(WP 0215).

b.
If 22 to 28 VDC are not present, repair wire 1189 in lower passenger
side body wire harness if repairable (TM 9-2320-325-14&P), or replace
passenger side body wire harness (WP 0298).
