Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful

vapors, and are harmful to skin and clothing.

To avoid injury or death, keep away

from open fire and use in well-ventilated area.

If adhesive, solvent, or sealing

compound gets on skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.

NOTE

Perform Steps (1) through (4) for rear hand wheel dump valve installation.

1.

Apply sealant to two washers (25) and 14 washers (27).

NOTE

Install washers as noted prior to removal.

2.

With the aid of an assistant, install gasket (30) and adapter (22) on vehicle with 14 screws (29), washers (28),

washers (27), and locknuts (26).

Tighten locknuts (26) in a criss-cross pattern until 3/8” of threads show

beyond nut.

3.

Install two washers (25), lockwashers (24) and screws (23) on adapter (22).

Tighten screws to

60 lb-in (6.78 N•m).

4.

With the aid of an assistant, install rear hand wheel dump valve (21) and dump chute (20) on adapter (22) with

12 screws (19), 24 washers (18), and 12 locknuts (17).

Tighten screws in a criss-cross pattern until 3/4” of

threads show beyond nuts.
