INTERMEDIATE AXLE DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER REPLACEMENT (CONT)

Lift tabs from two bearing cups (8).

(4.1)Remove four screws (7) and two bearing cups (8)

from drive yoke (9).

(5)

Slide drive shaft (10) from side to side and

separate universal joint (11) from drive yoke (9).

(6)

Attach drive shaft (10) to frame (6).

(7)

Remove air hose (12) from fitting (13).

(8) Remove six screws (14) and washers (15) from

bottom half of intermediate differential carrier (16).

NOTE

Perform the following step on bearing cups

with tabs.
