f. Counterbalance Valve Installation.
NOTE
Perform steps (1) through (7) on LH 30K
winch counterbalance valve.
(1) Install counterbalance valve (1) in vise.
(2) Install preformed packing (2) on 45-degree fitting (3).
(3) Install 45-degree fitting (3) in counterbalance valve (1).
(4) Install preformed packing (4) on fitting (5).
(5) Install fitting (5) in counterbalance valve (1).
(6) Install preformed packing (6) on 45-degree fitting (7).
(7) Install 45-degree fitting (7) in counterbalance valve (1).
NOTE
Perform steps (8) through (14) on RH 30K
winch counterbalance valve.
(8) Install counterbalance valve (1) in vise.
(9) Install preformed packing (8) on fitting (9).
(10) Install fitting (9) in counterbalance valve (1).
(11) Install preformed packing (10) on 45-degree fitting (11).
(12) Install 45-degree fitting (11) in counterbalance valve (1).
(13) Install preformed packing (12) on 45-degree fitting (13).
(14) Install 45-degree fitting (13) in counterbalance valve (1).
