GENERAL
When a new, used, or reconditioned trailer is received, determine whether it has been properly prepared for service
and is capable of performing its mission by following the inspection instructions and the servicing instructions.
INSPECTION INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Refer to DD Form 1397, Processing and Deprocessing Record for Shipment, Storage and Issue of Vehicles
and Spare Engines for procedures on unpacking the trailer.
2.
Remove all straps, plywood, tape, seals, and wrappings.
