Install S-camshaft (1), snap ring (7) and new retaining ring (8).

Follow-On Tasks.
1.
Install brake shoes (para. 6-8).
2.
Install brake drum (para. 6-9).
3.
Install tire and wheel (para. 6-18).
4.
Remove jack stands from axles.
5.
Connect semitrailer to prime mover.
6.
Road test to check for safe operation.
