Remove tiedown strap (Figure 23, Item 2) from drawbar (Figure 23, Item 7) and tiedown rings (Figure 23, Item

1) on trailer (Figure 23, Item 5).

Move air assist lever (Figure 23, Item 3) to LOWER position to lower drawbar (Figure 23, Item 7) away from

spare tire (Figure 23, Item 6) on trailer (Figure 23, Item 5).

Chock tires of trailer (Figure 23, Item 5). Refer to TM 9-2330-342-10 (WP

Release parking brakes (Figure 23, Item 4) on trailer (Figure 23, Item 5). Refer to TM 9-2330-342-10

CAUTION

Drawbar and turntable may only be rotated 180 degrees (back and forth in the same

direction). Drawbar may not be rotated 360 degrees. Rotating the drawbar and turntable 360

degrees will cause damage to the connections on the drawbar and turntable.

Rotate drawbar (Figure 24, Item 2) 180 degrees to the right (clockwise) until the drawbar is pointed to the front

of the trailer (Figure 24, Item 1).
