CONDITION/INDICATION
Are air lines 2255, 2660, 2637, 2638, 2639, 2260, service brake air lines, fittings, relay valves, and brake
chambers free of crimps?
DECISION
Not Crimped - Go to (Step 2 - Are air lines 2255, 2660, 2637, 2638, 2639, 2260, service brake air lines, fittings, relay
valves, and brake chambers free of leaks?).
Crimped - Replace faulty air line(s) (WP
0067). Go to (Step 10 - Is braking distance correct in response to
vehicle?) to verify problem is solved.
STEP 2
Are air lines 2255, 2660, 2637, 2638, 2639, 2260, service brake air lines, fittings, relay valves, and brake
chambers free of leaks?
1.
Have assistant turn engine start switch to ON. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP
0190).
2.
Push in trailer charge valve in vehicle. Refer to vehicle Operator's manual (WP
0190).
3.
While assistant fully applies brake pedal, listen to air lines, fittings, relay valves, and brake chambers for leaks.

0190).
CONDITION/INDICATION
Are air lines 2255, 2660, 2637, 2638, 2639, 2260, service brake air lines, fittings, relay valves, and brake
chambers free of leaks?
DECISION
Fittings leak and are loose - Tighten fittings. Go to (Step 10 - Is braking distance correct in response to vehicle?) to
verify problem is solved.
Air hose(s) leak - Replace leaking air hose(s) (WP
0067). Go to (Step 10 - Is braking distance correct in response
to vehicle?) to verify problem is solved.
Relay valve(s) leak - Replace relay valve(s) (WP
0076). Go to (Step 10 - Is braking distance correct in response to
vehicle?) to verify problem is solved.
Brake chamber(s) leak - Replace brake chamber(s) (WP
0071). Go to (Step 10 - Is braking distance correct in
response to vehicle?) to verify problem is solved.
All items listed do not leak - Go to (Step 3 - Does test equipment pass offset test?).
