Clean bearings and inspect for damage.

Clean hub and inspect it for discoloration, scratches and grooves inside hub.

Inspect spindle for scratches and grooves on journals and bending.

CONDITION/INDICATION

Are bearings loose, missing, or damaged?

DECISION

Spindle journals and/or grooves are bent or scratched - Repair faulty components (WP

0093). Go to (Step 7 - Does

suspect wheel wobble and shimmy?) to verify problem is solved.

Bearings an/or hub damaged - Replace faulty components (WP

0092). Go to (Step 7 - Does suspect wheel wobble

and shimmy?) to verify problem is solved.

No damage found - Go to (Step 5 - Is trailer suspension free of damage?).

Visually check if trailer leans to one side.
