CLEANING/INSPECTION
1.
Inspect camshaft (Figure 3, Item 1) splines for cracks, chipping, or wear.

Inspect camshaft (Figure 3, Item 1) for bends and cracks.

Replace all damaged parts.

INSTALLATION
1.
Install clevis (Figure 4, Item 2) on push rod (Figure 4, Item 1).

NOTE
Distance between the brake chamber bracket and the center of the large hole in the clevis
should be 6.95 in. (176.53 mm).
2.
Measure the distance between the center of large hole (Figure 5, Item 2) in clevis (Figure 5, Item 3) and the
brake chamber bracket (Figure 5, Item 1).
