Remove breather (1), clean with dry cleaning
solvent (item 16, appx C), and install.
Check that oil level is at FULL mark on gage
(2).
Remove fill plug (3) and fill with OE/HDO or
OEA (item 28 or 29, appx C) as necessary.
Clean fill plug (3) with dry cleaning solvent (item
16, appx C) and install.
High pressure CO
2
gas is used in this
equipment. Keep face and body clear of
release valves. Failure to observe safety
precautions may result in injury or death.
Inspect fire extinguisher cylinder data plate to
ensure that a hydrostatic test has been per-
formed within the past 12 years. Faulty extin-
guishers or those beyond the test time limit (12
years) shall be declared unserviceable and re-
placed.
