Installation

1.

Install thumbscrew (11) to each side of shield assembly (3).

2.

Install doors with two knobs (9) and four wingnuts (10).

3.

Connect shield assemblies (3) with 24 screws (6), 24 lockwashers (7), and 24 flat washers (8).

4.

Support shield assembly (3) by hand, turn on its side, and insert through personnel door; then place in position.

5.

Install nine screws (4) and nine lockwashers (5) to bottom of shield assembly (3).

6.

Install five screws (1) and five lockwashers (2) to each side at top of shield assembly (3).

NOTE

Follow-on maintenance: Install water can brackets (see WP 0392 00); Install commander’s seat (see

WP 0350 00); Install forward floor plate (see WP 0304 00); Install dome light (see WP 0183 00); Install

accessories panel (see WP 0158 00).
