REMOVAL

WARNING

Hatch door may spring up and injure you. Open hatch door and support in vertical position.

1.

Remove two screws (14), washers (13), bracket (12), and plate(s) (11) from hull top plate.

WARNING

Lifting or moving objects in excess of 70 pounds could injure you. Get an assistant or use a

lifting device to move heavy objects.

2.

Support hatch door (16). Remove nine leaf springs (10), shield (9), two gaskets (8), and hatch door (16) from hinge

brackets.

3.

Remove two screws (7), washers (6), eye bracket (5), and plate(s) (4) from hull top plate.

4.

Remove locknut (3) and screw (17) from hatch door (16). Discard locknut.
