REPLACE CARGO HATCH HOLD-OPEN HOOK AND BUMPERS (M113A2,

M901A1, AND M1059 ONLY) — Continued

3.

Place block (10) on hull bracket (3). Secure with two screws (9), four washers (8), and two new locknuts (7).

4.

Install hook (5) in safety pin (6) and chain (2). Squeeze both ends of hook to secure.

5.

Install tube (4) on chain (2).

6.

Install hook (1) on chain (2) and hull bracket (3). Squeeze both ends of hook to secure.

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Open cargo hatch cover and engage hook to check that hook and bumper are installed correctly.
