REPAIR HORIZONTAL AMMUNITION RACK (M1064 ONLY) — Continued

DISASSEMBLY

1.

Remove two webbing straps (1) from lower rack (2) and four middle racks (3).

2.

Remove two screws (4), metallic bumpers (5), and four washers (6) from lugs on lower door (7).

3.

Remove eight spacer bumpers (8) from four doors (9).

4.

Release ten hooks (10) from five doors (7) and (9). Open doors.

5.

Remove ten spring pins (11) and hooks (10) from vertical posts (12) and (13).

6.

Remove four hinge pins (1) and doors (2) from four middle ammo racks (3).

7.

Remove hinge pin (1) and door (4) from lower ammo rack (5).

8.

Remove two screws (6), washers (7), shims (8), and upper stowage rack (9) from two vertical posts (10 ) and (11).

9.

Remove two screws (6), washers (7), shims (12), and middle stowage rack (3) from two vertical posts (10) and (11).

10. Repeat Step 9 for four middle stowage racks (3).

11. Remove two screws (6), washers (7), shims (8), and lower stowage rack (5) from two vertical posts (10) and (11).
