REPLACE VERTICAL AMMUNITION RACK (M1064 ONLY) — Continued

REMOVAL

NOTE

Vertical ammunition racks in the M1064 carrier are removed and installed the same way. Racks

differ in size and capacity. Left racks are shown.

1.

Remove 12 screws (1), washers (2), and rack (3) from side hull and top plate.

2.

Remove 11 screws (4), washers (5), and rack (6) from side hull and sponson.

3.

If damaged, remove ten straps (7) from loops (8) on left side hull.

4.

If damaged, remove two straps (9) from loops (10) on sponson side plate.

5.

If damaged, remove two decals (11) from sponson side plate.

6.

If damaged, remove decal (12) from sponson side plate.

7.

If damaged, remove strap (13) from loops (14) on sponson side plate.
