REPLACE TRIPOD STOWAGE BRACKETS (M901A1 ONLY) — Continued

REMOVAL
1.
Remove cotter pin (1), headed straight pin (2), and restraining strap (3) from tripod plate strap (4).
2.
Remove two screws (5), washers (6), locknuts (7), and support shims (8) from lower support bracket (9) and support
channel (10). Remove support bracket from support channel. Discard locknuts.
3.
Remove two screws (11), washers (12), six washers (13), and tripod plate strap (4) from lower support bracket (9).
4.
Remove three screws (14), lockwashers (15), and spacers (16) from lower support bracket (9). Remove lower support
bracket from carrier. Discard lockwashers.
5.
Remove two screws (17) and washers (18) from support channel (10) and floorboard. Remove support channel and
support cushion (19) from under floorboard.
6.
Remove two cotter pins (20), washers (21), and cap pivot pin (22) from tripod tiedown cap (23) and tripod tiedown arm
(24). Remove tripod tiedown cap from tripod tiedown arm. Discard cotter pins.
