REPLACE MISSILE RACK (M901A1 ONLY) — Continued

DISASSEMBLY

1.

Remove 16 cotter pins (1), headed straight pins (2), and 20 tiedown straps (3) from rack. Discard cotter pins.

2.

Remove two pins (4) from upper rack (5).

3.

Remove four locknuts (6), washers (7), screws (8), rubber pads (9), and shims (10) from lower rack (11) and middle

rack (12). Discard locknuts.

4.

Remove 20 missile pads (13) from upper rack (5), middle rack (12), and lower rack (11).

5.

Remove 16 locknuts (14), washers (15), screws (16), washers (17), and four latches (18) from lower rack (11) and

middle rack (12). Discard locknuts.

CLEAN, INSPECT, AND REPAIR

1.

Inspect parts for corrosion, distortion, cracks, breaks, and loose or missing parts. Repair or replace damaged or missing

parts.
