REPLACE PERISCOPE MOUNTING BRACKET (M901A1 ONLY) — Continued

REMOVAL

1.

Unlatch two latches (1) and remove periscope (2) from deck (3).

2.

Remove four screws (4), lockwashers (5), and washers (6) from periscope mount (7) and deck (3). Remove periscope

mount and gasket (8) from deck. Discard lockwashers and gasket.

3.

Remove two cotter pins (9), latches (1), springs (10), washers (11) and headless pins (12) with spring pins (13) from

periscope mount (7). Discard cotter pins.

NOTE

If spring pins are not damaged, go to INSTALLATION Step 2.

4.

If necessary, remove spring pins (13) from headless pins (12). Discard spring pins.
