RAMP LOCK ADJUSTMENT

NOTE

All ramp adjustments must be done with the ramp down. Always adjust forward linkage first.

Lower r am p

(see y our -10 ).

Remove cotter pin (1) and headed pin (2) from clevis (3). Discard cotter pin.

Disconnect clevis (3) from link (4).

Swing ramp lock handle (5) forward. If catch (6) does not engage with striker (7), adjust catch (Step 5). If catch and

strikeradjustmentiscorrect

NOTE

Install the same number of flat washers on each side of all four supports.

To adjust catch (6) and striker (7), remove eight screws (8) and key washers (9) from four supports (10). Discard key

washers. Remove or add new flat washers (11), as required, to shim between supports (10) and hull top plate.

6.

Install eight new key washers (9). Tighten eight screws (8). If shimmed right, catch (6) on lock handle (5) will engage

firmly with striker (7). Bend keys to secure screws.
