REPLACE RAMP LOCK LEVER AND CABLE (M577A2 AND M1068 ONLY) — Continued

Install two seal assemblies (1) on cable (2).

6.

Install two new locknuts (3) and joints (4) on cable (5). Secure joints with locknuts.

7.

Install two new locknuts (6) and clevises (7) on two joints (4). Do not tighten locknuts.

8.

Align spring (8) and catch (9) with lever (10). Secure with two new spring pins (11).

9.

Position arm (12) through bulkhead. Slide rear support (13) into place.

10. Install key (14) on arm (12). Align lever (10) over key. Position front support (13) on arm.

11. Place two supports (13) on hull top plate. Secure with four new key washers (15) and screws (16), bend keys on

washers to secure.

12. Install two screws (17), washers (18), and new locknuts (19) in lever (10). Do not tighten locknuts.

13. Install headed pins (20) in clevises (7) and arms (12) and (21). Secure with two new cotter pins (22). Tighten locknuts

(19).
