1.

Turn MASTER SWITCH OFF. See TM 9-2350-277-10.

2.

Set up Test 91. See TM 9-6625-2301-14&P.

3.

Remove nut (1) and harness 12354672 circuit 775 terminal

end E3 (2) from solenoid positive terminal (3).

4.

Ground terminal E3 to starter ground stud (4).

5.

Remove plug W1 P2 (5) from MSD/ICE distribution

box jack J2 (6).

6.

Measure resistance between MSD/ICE distribution box

jack J2 (6), pins S (7) and M (8).

7.

Does MSD read more than 0 ohms?

YN

1.

Faulty W1 cable. Beyond unit

maintenance repair.

2.

Notify supervisor.
