Six latches are removed the same way. Two are located on the boxes. Four are located on the

front plates.

Remove two locknuts (6), washers (7), screws (8), and latch (9) from box (5) or plate (4). Discard locknuts.

Remove four screws (1), eight washers (2), four locknuts (3), and front plate (4) from battery box (5). Discard locknuts.
