REPLACE WIRE ROPE AND PULLEYS (M1064A3 ONLY) — Continued

INSTALLATION

1.

Remove rope identification band numbers to indicate the date (year and month) of installation (new style rope only).

2.

Route wire rope (3) through pulley mount.

3.

Align three pulleys (6) with pulley mount. Secure with three headed pins (5) and new cotter pins (4).

4.

Align wire rope swedged eye with ramp mount bracket. Secure with headed pin (2) and new cotter pin (1).

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Connect wire rope to ramp cylinder (WP 0656 00).

2.

Install rear floor plate (WP 0543 00).

3.

Start engine. See TM 9-2350-277-10.

4.

Raise and lower ramp several times. See TM 9-2350-277-10. Check to see that wire rope and pulleys operate properly.

5.

Raise and lock ramp. See TM 9-2350-277-10.

6.

Stop engine. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
