INSPECT RAMP WIRE ROPE (CABLE) — Continued

NOTE

When Ramp Wire Rope (Cable), PN 12475171, is replaced, make sure a DA Form 2408-9

(Repair) is completed in full after cable replacement procedures have been completed. Block

#21, therein, will contain the statement: “Replacement of Critical Saftey Item (CSI), Ramp Wire

Rope (Cable), PN 12475171, completed per inspection criteria.” The DA Form 2408-9 (Repair)

“Log Book Copy 3” will be posted within the carrier’s Log Book at the designated section.

Replace ramp wire rope (cable) (WP 0657 00 or WP 0658 00) when inspection has identified any of the

conditions/defects previously addressed.

LUBRICATION

Where inspection reveal no deficiencies, with ramp in fully open/lowered position and, again, when ramp is in the fully

closed and locked position, lubricate ramp wire rope (cable) with Lubricating Oil, CW-11, per WP 0155 00, Table 16. Wipe

away excess lubricant with clean wiping rag.

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

1.

Install rear floor plates (WP 0539 00, WP 0542 00, WP 0543 00, WP 0544 00, or WP 0545 00)

2.

Start engine. See TM 9-2350-277-10.

3.

Rasie and lock ramp. See TM 9-2350-277-10.

4.

Stop engine. Turn MASTER SWITCH OFF. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
