INSTALL COVER ARMOR PLATE

WARNING

Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These

compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you

dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat.

Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes.

Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves.

Apply adhesive to three spacers (12) and place on the cover armor plate (13).

NOTE

The cover armor plate (13) weighs 76 lbs (34 kg). Have helper assist and use a lifting device

capable of lifting 80 lbs (36 kg).

Using floor jack or suitable lifting device, position cover armor plate (13) to lower access hull cover opening in the mine

armor plate. Have helper assist. Secure with three screws (10) and hardened washers (11) to secure the cover armor plate

to the hull.

3.

TORQUE THREE SCREWS TO 86-94 LB FT (117-127 N·M). Use torque wrench.
