INSTALL SPONSON ARMOR PLATE

NOTE

The sponson armor plate (1) weighs 67 lbs (30 kg). Have helper assist and use a lifting device

capable of lifting 70 lbs (32 lbs) to hold the sponson armor plate up to the underside of the

sponson. This can be done with the track installed or removed if the mounting provisions for

it are in place. Once the sponsor armor plate is installed it will stay a permanent part of the

vehicle.

1.

Position sponson armor plate (1) on top of the left track under the left side sponson with the slotted holes facing outward

and chamfered edge to the rear. Have helper assist in holding the plate in position. Use forklift, or other lifting bar, to

hold sponson armor plate (1) in place.

NOTE

Do not tighten socket head screws (8) and (7) until all of them have been installed.

Install five socket screws (8) and washers (9) in sponson armor plate (1).

3.

Install five socket screws (7) and washers (6) in sponson armor plate (1).

4.

Tighten all 10 socket head screws (8) and (7).
