INSTALLATION

WARNING

Each Outback inverter assembly weighs 70 lbs (32kg) and may be awkward to handle. Use

correct lifting procedures, indicated lifting devices, and/or assistance from other personnel to

avoid injury. Failure to comply could result in injury to personnel and equipment damage.

NOTE

Connect the cable leads to the inverter by positioning inverter half out of inverter housing or

connect cable leads before placing inverter assembly into housing.

Loosen two screws (30) on cable clamp (31) located on side of inverter housing (24) enough to route cable (11) through

cable clamp up to terminal block (27). Do not tighten cable clamp screws until leads are secured to terminal block.

Loosen four terminal block screws (28). Connect four leads (29) into inverter terminal block (27) and tighten terminal

screws (28). Follow wiring diagram (32).
