a. Removal

Spade is heavy. At least three personnel are required to assist in lowering and

removing spade from hull to avoid serious injury.

1 Unlatch and lower spade assembly (1) to ground.

2 Remove two snap pins (2) and two spade pins (3). Discard snap pins.

3 Remove spade assembly (1).
