Remove

1. Partially separate advance vane and housing and

remove eight seals and springs (A)

2. Remove vane (B) from housing.

Install

1. Position advance vane (B) in housing.

2. With vane partially separated from housing, install

1. Remove bevel gearshaft ball bearing (A) from ac-

cessory drive bevel gearshaft.

2. Remove shim (B) located behind bearing and retain

for use during assembly.
