NOTE

Readings must be within limits given in table 4-38. The

letter L shows a loose fit.

If readings are not within

given limits, get a new oil pump.

1.

Measure inside diameter of impeller drive shaft bushing (1).

2.

Measure outside diameter of impeller drive shaft.

3.

Measure fit of impeller drive shaft diameter (2) in impeller drive shaft

bushing (1).

4.

Measure inside diameter of impeller drive shaft bushing (3).

5.

Measure outside diameter (4) at other end of impeller drive shaft.

6.

Measure fit of impeller drive shaft diameter (4) in impeller drive shaft

bushing (3).
