GENERATOR REPLACEMENT (300 AMPHERE)

Box wrench (item 135, WP 0176)

General mechanic’s tool kit (item 121, WP 0176)

Expendable and Durable Items:

Silicon compound (item 34, WP 0173)

Personnel Required:

Track Vehicle Repairer (2) 63H10

Equipment Conditions:

Engine removed from vehicle and placed on a

flat stationary surface

Tag all electrical connections and electrical leads prior to removal to aid in installation.

Install

nuts and lock washers on generator terminals after removal of wires.

New generators are supplied

with nuts and lock washers.

REMOVAL

1. Remove generator (1) air intake tube (2).

a. Remove two screws (3) with lock washers (4) and flat washers (5).

b. Slide generator air intake tube (2) away from generator (1) blower motor (6) housing to

remove.
