3. Disconnect negative polarity wiring.

a. Remove self-locking nut (18) with flat washer (19) to disconnect ground strap (20).

Reinstall self-locking nut and flat washer.

b. Remove screw (21) with flat washer (22), to remove ground strap (20).

Retain ground

strap for reinstallation.

4. Disconnect generator blower (6) electrical connector (23).

a. Remove cap screw (24) with lock washer (25) to disconnect ground lead (26).

b. Disconnect and remove blower (6) electrical connector (23).
