Install left-hand camshaft (3) into engine

block (2).

Aline left camshaft gear (4), right camshaft gear (5), idler gear (6), and crankshaft timing gear (7)

so that timing marks on gears (4, 5, 6, and 7) line up as shown.

Slide camshaft gears (4 and 5) into place until camshaft gears (4 and 5) and idler gear (6) are

fully meshed.

(5) Check timing marks again to make sure gears (4, 5, 6, and 7) are alined as shown.
