NOTE

To change gap between rotor lobes by

0.001-in. (0.025 mm), add or remove a

0.003-in. (0.076 mm) shim.

Add or remove shims (21) to right

rotor shaft (4) as necessary.

corrected with shims, replace rotors.

There are six measurements

between rear end plate and rotor

lobes, one for each lobe of each

rotor.

feeler gage, check clearance

and both rotor lobes (29

and 30). If clearance is not

correct, replace rear end

plate.

feeler gage, check clearance

and both rotor lobes (29

and 30). If clearance is not

correct, replace front end

plate.
