Mount governor housing (1) in vise with soft jaws.

Remove plug (2) and gasket (3) from governor housing (1).

Bend tang of lockwasher (4) away from head of bearing retaining screw (5).

Remove bearing retaining screw (5), lockwasher (4), and washer (6).
