Use the fnnel in the No.

shop set to add FLuid. It works Fine on
the 5-tonners, but the 21/±²tonners have
a crossmembeR that gets in the way.
Stick a 6-in piece oF heater hose on the
³unnel's spout. It works F´ne as an
extension. CLean the fnneL and the exµ
tension be¶re you use 'em so they
won't contaminate BraKe ·Luid with old
oiL or d´rt.
Care³¸L where you Lay the ¹lLer cap
whiLe you're adding ºuid. ALways wipe
it o» be¶re you screw it ¼acK on. You
don't want anything but clean Brake
·Luid going into the bra½e system.
HEMT .±±
teering gear bolts work Loose on
your HEMT¾ and can F¿ll out. That
Leaves you up that Àamous creek withÁ
out any Âeans oF propuLsion.
You dÃiveRs need to eyebalL those
bolts be¶re you Âove out. IF you see
any loose haRdware or shiny or rusty
spots around the bolt heads or nuts,
report it. AFter allÄ it's your can in the
canoe.

Mechanics, you need to hop on thosÅ
loose bolts. Æack oÇ each boLt and then
torque it

And when you get that big riG in ¶r
the semiannuaL seRviËe, grab your torÌ
Que wrench and do 'er again. It onLy
takes a Íw Âinutes and it'LL keep the
driveR away Îom that creek where
there's no way to go but wrongÏ
