You have the wheel of. IF the l±ning
±s woR to within ²S-inch oF the rivet
heads; or ³r bonded lin±ngs, beyond
the specs called ³r in your ´20 TM,
replace the brake shoes.
No Solvent on Brake Shoes
When brake shoes get covered with
d±µ or mud, clean 'em with compres¶
sed air, water and a brush. Never use
dryclean±ng solvent. It breaks down the
material ±n the l±ning.
·eplace the
shoes iF there's anyth±ng on 'em that
air and water won't take o¸F¹
Do Not Touch!
Look, but don't touch the master cyº
linder dust boot. IF you don't see brake
»lu±d on the boot, leave ±t alone.
¼hen you pull the boot back to look
³r Flu±d, you can le½ dirt and gr±t get
on the rod¾ Then when you use the
brakes, the d±rt on the rod rubs like
sandpaper on the seal, and beFOre long,
you've got to replace it.
