yoU a coupLe oF handy console covers
fom

Be sure to smooth all edges with a
±iLe be²re you use the cover. ANd paint
it red so you won

it when yoU're through working³

on any knob, dials or switches when
you install it.

IHADSS hints and H±ndrances
ere are some hints to help you take
care oF your ´ntegrated µeLmet and
DIsplay SIGHt System (´µADSS)³
Don't slam dUn¶ your helmet ·nto
its storage bag when you're doNe Fly¸
inG. Too many cabLes and sensItive
components can get snagged or brokeN.
¹Ive tHe cables and microphone extra
protectIon agaInst bumps by putting
yoUr helmet upside down In tHe bag
iNstead oF right side up.

ºever use your Helmet bag to store
k»ee boards, maps, vests¼ Canteens,
pubs aNd other persOnal gear.

ºever carRy your helmet by its
straps. That pUlls the eaR cups loose³
THen yoU have to be re½tted¾a big
time¿waster.

the coaxiaL cabLe that conNects to aNy
oF yoUr Apache's radar wÀing spiraL
antennas, be sure to ±irst loosen the
antenna.
´F you don't, you could eas·Áy jolt the
cabLe an break the piN iNside the cable.
The pin's extremely brittle. ´F it breaks,
you'lL have to replace the cabLe.

moviNg the FÅur screws that hoLd each
antenna in place on the Æselage.
