f you add too much oil to your bird's main transmIssion, the excess oIl wiLL
chuR in the inpUt module and cause the main gearbox to overheat.
So here's what to do:
Wait at least 2 hours after your bird has been shut down to check the oil
level. That insures
·
all oil has draIned back into the oil sump.
±Check the oil level using the CO²D level marking on the diPstick. Some
dIpstIcks are calIbrated f³r checking coLd leve´s only, whIle others are caLibrated
on one side f³r coLd levels and on the other side f³r hot LeveLs.
µEyeball your bird's dIpstIck f³r a part number. ¶N 70351-08164¸103 is

to 17¹º Inches Long f»om the top of the cap to the end Qf the stIck. ¼t
should be ½5¾º to 15¿ Inches Fom the top of the cap to the ADD mark and
15¹º to À5ÁÂ/
