one of youR bird's receiver-traNsmitters.
If you're heavy handed or get in a
big hurry, you

the radios to your aircraFt.

couple oF threads so that it "¿oatsÀÁ A
¿oat²Ng plug is easier to Mate with the
¶T as it is iNstalleD.
µter you set ´he ¶T oNto its mount,
ease it back un´il you Ãe¾ resistance.
Then jiggLe it a litÄLe to make sure the
guide piNs are Li±ed up witH guiDe ho¾es
²n the ¿oatiNg coN±ectorÅ The± ge±tly
ease ²t the rest oµ the way i±.
If it wonÆt go ²N easy, bacK o», a±D
stÇrt over agaiN.

have trouble comMun²cati±g over your i±tercoM systeM, you may be setti±g
your intercom coNtro¾ uNit oN the wroNg ²mpedaNce.
Iµ you have an ÐPÉ-4 helMet, it should have a± Ñ-87 MicroÒhoNe. The
impedaNce oN your bird's controL set shouLd be set at 1.
But ²F you have aN ÐPÉÓ4Ô or ÕÉAÏÐÐ heLmet, it shou¾d have aN Ñ-170
microphoNe. IN that case, the impeda±ce oN your birD's cont½oL set shou¾d be
set at 2.
If you're Not sure which Micropho±e you½ heLMet Has, you ca± teLL by ²ts
shape. The ÑÓ170 is st½aight aNd Na½row, while the Ñ-87 has a bulge in the
middLe.
