these, then run this test·
1. Put On the X²mOde cap tightly¸
2. SwitcH On yOur ±T¸
3¹ TuM the light switch ºN¸
LIGHT
HiGH
POWER
LoW
OFF

»ut the squelch tO ¼LD ºN¸
5. ½ake O¾ the X¿mOde cap¸
If the call lamp lights, all's ºK¸
NO light might just mean a bad lamp,
Of cOurse¸ SO, nOw yOu use yOur ears¸
6. TuM O¾ the ±T¹
7. ±eplacetheXÀmOdecap¸ THe cap
has circuits in it yOur ±T needs tO OpÁ
erate when secure equipment is nOt
being used¸
8. Set the squelch tO NEW ºÂÂ,
and tUM On tHe ±T¸
9. If yOu Hear a rushing nOise, itÃs
ºK¸
10. Take O¾ the cap and tHe rUshing
sOund shOuld stOp¸ If it dOesn't, get
yOur set adjusted¸
