Installation of Air Conditioning Kit to M1097A2 with GSIE Add-on-Armor (Cont’d).
a. Install Compressor
CAUTION
When tightening bolts, DO NOT overtighten.
Torque to specified torque value only.
Failure to comply may result in damage to equipment.
NOTE
The Compressor Kit is designed to be installed with both versions of the liten
serpentine belt drive systems.

(1)
Using a 3/8 ratchet or breaker bar, rotate belt tensioner (1).
Slip belt off passenger side
grooved idler pulley.
Remove belt.
(2)
Mark air intake duct at the air filter housing.
Remove air intake duct.
