HEU HOSE ASSEMBLIES “AT”, “AU”, “AV”, FITTINGS AND COUNTERBALANCE
VALVE “DC” REPLACEMENT (Sheet 2 of 4)

Hold elbow (D) with adjustable wrench and use wrench to remove hose assembly “AU” (B) from elbow (D).
4.
Use adjustable wrench to remove elbow (D) from counterbalance valve “DC” (E). Remove preformed packing
(C).
5.
Hold elbow (F) with adjustable wrench and use wrench to disconnect hose assembly “AT” (G) from elbow (F).
6.
Use adjustable wrench to remove elbow (F) from port “CJ” on front glacis. Remove preformed packing (C).
7.
Hold elbow (H) with adjustable wrench and use wrench to remove hose assembly “AT” (G) from elbow (H).
8.
Use adjustable wrench to hold tube assembly “AV” (J) and use wrench to remove elbow (H) from tube assembly ”AV”
(J). Remove preformed packings (C).
9.
Hold elbow (K) with adjustable wrench and use wrench to remove tube assembly “AV” (J) from elbow (K).
10.
Use adjustable wrench to remove elbow (K) from counterbalance valve “DC” (E). Remove preformed packing (C).
11.
Use socket and ratchet to remove four bolts (L) from counterbalance valve “DC” (E). Remove counterbalance valve
“DC” (E).
