PRELIMINARY PROCEDURES:

Zero hydraulic pressure (page 3-70.5)

NOTE

Use this task to replace either hose assembly “BL” or “BM”. Hose assembly “BL”

is shown.

REMOVAL:

1.

Use adjustable wrench to hold adapter (A) and use wrench to disconnect hose assembly “BL” (B) from “LNCH”

port at front of manual control valve (C). Remove preformed packing (D).

2.

Use adjustable wrench to remove adapter (A) from “LNCH” port at front of manual control valve (C). Remove

preformed packing (D).

3.

Use adjustable wrench to hold adapter (E) and use wrench to disconnect hose assembly “BL” (B) from “LNCH”

port at crew compartment bulkhead (F). Remove preformed packing (D).

4.

Use adjustable wrench to remove adapter (E) from “LNCH” port at crew compartment bulkhead (F) Remove

preformed packing (D).

5.

Inspect parts and replace as required.
